Product information
Overview - Solder paste is the pure form of the flux added to the
majority of commercial solder, it is applied to PCB surfaces before soldering
via a screen-printing process. Its purpose is to both form the electrical
contact, and to stick the components to the PCB during the rest of the
manufacturing process.
This paste is ideal for PCBs and repair work and helps stop dry joints from
occurring because oxidation is prevented. It also helps to ensure the flow
of solder in its liquid state remains consistent and predictable.
Safety - This product has been tested to CE standards to ensure its safety
during use, and RoHS standards to ensure that any harmful ingredients used in
its production are properly regulated.
Note - It should be noted that while Solder Paste is perfectly safe if
used correctly, care should be taken to avoid contact with skin and eyes,
ingestion or inhalation of fumes. Proper protection should be worn when working
with irritants.
