Multicore Loctite 60/40 Tin Lead No Clean Rosin Flux Solder Wire 0.7mm / 1.2mm 250g
Product Information
Multicore X39 cored wires are manufactured as standard with a nominal flux content of 1%. Multicore X39 cored wire is available in a variety of alloys conforming to J-STD-006 and EN 29453 or alloys conforming to similar national or international standards.
The alloys used for Multicore flux cored solder wire conforms to the purity requirements of the common national and international standards.
Multicore X39 solid flux is based on modified rosins and halide-free carboxylic acid activators. In use it has a mild rosin smell and leaves a small quantity of clear residue.

SOLDERING SET
FOR YOUR MAMOD STEAM ENGINE
REPAIR OR RENOVATION
Product Information
You will receive one tube of 60/40 wound solder wire which is
1.20mm thickness.
A 10g tub of quality flux, also known as soldering
paste.
This has a wax-like consistency and is
easy to apply.
Not everyone will have
soldering experience and if that is you, please read the five steps below.
1. Clean the surfaces to be joined if necessary.
2. Apply a small amount of flux to the area of
soldering.
3. Heat using the flame of the butane torch and
place the two items together.
4. Apply the solder to the heated brass while
maintaining the heat until suddenly it runs.
5. Quickly remove the heat.
Practice makes perfect!
The tub will last you a long
time because so little is used for each soldering job.
Solder specification –
Leaded rosin flux solder in a handy tube, small
enough to fit in a pocket, the solder can be pulled through a hole in the top
of the tube
